Responsibilities

  • Set the overall delivery strategy and vision for the agency in order to achieve operational excellence
  • Define specific delivery approach and methods based on project needs
  • Ultimately own project scoping and estimation with support from leadership and growth teams
  • Lead sales to delivery handoff process to ensure team is set up for success
  • Own resource management initiatives – ensure project teams are staffed with skill, capacity, account priority and profitability in mind
  • Ensure that all deliverables meet the agency’s quality standards and align with client requirements
  • Conduct project checkpoints to monitor project health, identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies
  • Monitor project financials to ensure project profitability and financial health across projects
  • Continuously evaluate and improve internal processes and workflows to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in project delivery
  • Contribute to the agency’s strategic goals by aligning project delivery with broader business objectives
  • Inspire, lead and mentor members of the delivery team
  • Support COO and leadership team with defining and packaging new service offerings
  • Oversee the planning, execution and delivery of web development projects
  • Oversee recruitment, development and retention of talent within the delivery team

Requirements

  • Proven track record of delivering complex web projects successfully
  • Ability to think holistically across multiple disciplines
  • Strategic thinking and foresight
  • Killer interpersonal and influencing skills
  • Proactive problem solver with innate desire to learn
  • Aptitude for technology
  • Strong leadership and team building skills
  • Ability to defend your stance on if a hot dog is a sandwich

Preferred

  • 5+ years of experience working at a web development agency
  • 10+ years working in professional services
